About the Owner

Scott Shimala

Scott is the founder of Clarity Digital Systems. His background spans consulting, systems-focused work, and user experience research and design across both academic and real-world business environments. He holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction and has experience at a recruitment marketing and consulting agency supporting public safety organizations across the country, as well as a user experience researcher at Indiana University.

Over time, Scott saw the same pattern repeated across service-based businesses: disconnected tools, manual processes, and systems that created more stress than clarity. Through his experience as a homeowner and property manager, he also saw firsthand how dramatically operations affect outcomes—how well-run, intentional systems directly impact revenue, efficiency, and peace of mind.

Scott takes a consultative, systems-first approach—working alongside clients to understand their goals and constraints, then managing the technical planning and execution behind the scenes. His focus is on building practical, sustainable systems that fit the business, not forcing businesses to adapt to rigid tools or agency workflows.
